Day # 1) Hurghada – Cairo Tour – Luxor
You will be picked up from your hotel in Hurghada by our representative who will accompany you to Hurghada airport to fly to Cairo in arrival in Cairo you will be met by your Egyptology expert tour guide to visit:

Giza Pyramids Tour
Of course the most well preserved and famous those pyramids of Giza plateau which dated back to the fourth dynasty. The pyramid of king Cheops is the biggest of the Egyptian pyramids. Its real height is 147 m but after lose 11 m from its height it became 136m now. The middle pyramids of Khefren is smaller than the pyramid of Cheops with its height 143.5 m and the only one than still having the remaining of the outer casing of the fine limestone .The smallest pyramid of king Mykerinus with height of 66 m, but must have been extremely beautiful as it was once coated with pink granite.

Tour The Egyptian Museum in Cairo
It is now more than 160 years since the ancient Egyptian artifacts were first exhibited in Cairo, and almost 100 years since the opening to the public of the present Egyptian Museum on Tahrir square in the heart of Cairo, where the Egyptian revolution took place in Jan 25 against Mubarak and his regime. The Egyptian Museum contains some 150.000 artifacts created over a period of more than 5,000 years. It is consists of two floors, the ground floor is devoted to the great sculptural works, arranged chronologically, covering the history of Egypt from the Archaic and proto dynastic periods through to the late Saite period, Persian and Greco-Roman periods. The second floor displayed in collection and the most important is that of king Tutankhamun.

The last stop will be for a shopping opportunity at the famous bazaars of Khan El Khalili. Transfer to Cairo airport to fly to Luxor with direct transfer to your hotel in Luxor for check in and overnight stay.

Day # 2) Luxor Tour – Hurghada
Pick you up from your hotel in Luxor after breakfast. In Luxor trip you will visit the following sights with your Egyptology expert tour guide:

Karnak Temple Complex Trip
It is the largest temple complex ever built by man, and represents the combined achievement of many generations of ancient Egyptian builders. The Temple of Karnak is actually three main temples, smaller enclosed temples, and several outer temples located about three kilometers north of Luxor. Karnak is actually the sites modern name. Its ancient name was Ipet-isut, meaning “The Most sacred of Places”. The three main temples of Mut, Montu and Amun are enclosed by enormous brick walls. The Open Air Museum is located to the north of the first courtyard, across from the Sacred Lake. Actually, there are a number of smaller temples and chapels spread about Karnak, such as the Temple of Osiris Hek-Djet, which is actually inside the enclosure wall of the Temple of Amun. Lunch meal will be served at five stars restaurant in Luxor or in a local restaurant as per your desire. Then cross to the Nile to the west bank.

Valley of the kings Trip
The Valley of the Kings actually has two components – the East Valley and the West Valley. It is the East Valley which most tourists visit and in which most of the tombs of the New Kingdom Pharaohs can be found. (The West Valley has only one remote tomb open to the public, that of Ay who was Tutankhamun’s successor.) Beginning with the 18th Dynasty and ending with the 20th, the kings abandoned the Memphis area and built their tombs in Thebes. Also abandoned were the pyramid style tombs. Most of the tombs were cut into the limestone following a similar pattern, three corridors, an antechamber and a sunken sarcophagus chamber. These catacombs were harder to rob and were more easily concealed. Construction usually lasted six years, beginning with the new reign. The texts in the tombs are from the Book of the Dead, the Book of the Gates and the Book of the Underworld.

Deir el-Bahri Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut
The Temple of Hatshepsut is the best-preserved of the three complexes. Called by the people Djeser-djeseru, “sacred of sacreds”, Hatshepsut’s terraced and rock-cut temple is one of the most impressive monuments of the west bank. Situated directly against the rock face of Deir el-Bahri’s great rock bay, the temple not only echoed the lines of the surrounding cliffs in its design, but it seems a natural extension of the rock faces. The temple was little more than a ruin when first excavated in 1891, but it has led to a great deal of successful reconstruction. The temple took 15 years to build and was modified throughout that time.

Colossi of Memnon Tour
The twin statues depict Amenhotep III in a seated position, his hands resting on his knees and his gaze facing eastwards towards the river. Two shorter figures are carved into the front throne alongside his legs: these are his wife Tiy and mother Mutemwiya. The side panels depict the Nile God Hapy. Before leaving for Hurghada you will stop for a shopping opportunity at the Old Market in Luxor, where you may wish to pick up a few good quality souvenirs. Then you will be transferred to Hurghada with direct transfer to your hotel in Hurghada .
